BIG NEWS - www.chrisflishermandalas.com
will be open for business on May 5th. After months of hard work and dedication my
team has finally been able to launch this wonderful new business portal for
me. The site features 30 mandalas on
products ranging from t-shirts to tiles to coffee mugs and limited edition prints. Stop by for a visit and leave an email, or
sign-up for the newsletter. The site was
designed and created by Christopher Radliff of www.residualzen.com. This effort has been guided by my wonderful

I
am also launching a new charity initiative that will raise money for brain
tumor research. Titled “Hope Floats” after one of my first
mandalas, the program will feature a limited edition t-shirt with the Hope
Floats design. All net proceeds from the
program will be donated to the National Brain Tumor Foundation. They will be working in conjunction with us
on this effort and we hope to raise awareness across the globe for this
terrible disease. The campaign is based
upon the mandala and will generate publicity through a “viral” sticky note
campaign. Each person that buys a
T-shirt will receive a stack of Hope Floats sticky notes. The idea is to plaster the world with these
notes in an effort to increase awareness.
The sticky notes are easy to apply to mirrors, glass doors, and windows,
in restaurants, malls, businesses, and anywhere throughout the world. Register and help spread the word.

AS ABOVE, SO BELOW:
Pluto’s slow march into the first degree of Capricorn has born out a
significant correction in the world’s economical structure. The mighty planet of transformation continues
to retrograde (think of “re” with all events) backwards into the critical
degrees of Capricorn, a cardinal sign.
The early degrees of any cardinal sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra and
Capricorn) are significant and indicate major upheaval and initiation. That which doesn’t serve humanity and the
planet, will be corrected through these transits. Institutions, organizations, and governments
typically “re-form” during these periods.
The world’s financial markets are reeling from bad loan policies. The recent turmoil in China over its
ridiculous occupation of neighboring Tibet also bear this out as the world rises
in protest on a very grand scale. The
irony of

May presents a great
opportunity to feel traction again. If
it has been hard to get closure, launch new initiatives or make progress you
can thank Saturn in retrograde. Saturn goes
direct on May 2nd. Read below
for more specific information. Any one
with strong earth signs will begin to feel as if they are moving again. There are times when the power of Saturn
literally wears you out. Responsibility
and hard work are its domain, so naturally we feel the pressure. Along with this renewed sense of
accomplishment comes a wonderful sextile between Jupiter and Uranus.
Sextiles represent
positive relationships between planets.
They are denoted by a 60 degree separation of two planets. Jupiter, the planet of opportunity,
expansion, and optimism will be in Capricorn (cardinal earth) at 22 degrees,
while Uranus, planet of rebellion, change, and experimentation will be at 22
degrees Pisces (mutable water). The
sextile represents a harmonious blending of energies just as earth (Capricorn)
and water (Pisces) blend together well.
The fact that they make mud together is not to be viewed as a negative,
but rather as a cohesive mix of two comfortable elements.
Look for artistic
expression and novel methods for expansion to be the prevalent themes as these
two planets emit their powers. Even
though we are in the midst of economic downturns and uncertain political
futures we can seize the opportunity with this type of theme so prevalent. Necessity if the mother of invention and
tough times often bear wonderful fruit as invention and innovation surface in
times such as these.
At the same time Pluto at
0 degrees Capricorn, Saturn at 1 degree Virgo and Venus at 1 degree Taurus will
make many happy as a natural Grand Trine (120 degrees) supports positive
transformation in the areas of love and money.
Perhaps the long hard work of Saturn will pay off in a transformation
(Pluto) of financial news or relationship breakthroughs for all. This will be felt during the week of May 15
through the 24th. Virgo,
Taurus, Capricorn natives will undoubtedly feel the impact the most. We are a composite of many signs and many of
us have significant earth in our charts.
The best way to determine what you have in your chart is to seek out a
professional reading. Each person’s
chart is unique. For details of the
impact of these planets in your chart, contact me for an in-depth reading. Focus on positive events and always be open
to possibilities. Personal readings are always available by emailing

Astrology 101: Saturn Direct
After several months in retrograde (backwards motion), Saturn is about to go
direct (forward) at 1 degree Virgo on May 2nd.
Saturn has been in reverse motion (as seen by us on earth) since
December 19th. Although
Saturn does fairly well under the service and detailed-oriented sign of Virgo,
the results still bear witness in areas of institutions; financial and other.
Saturn is the planet of
accountability, responsibility, honesty, structure, and diligence. If you have been wise in those areas you are
rewarded. If you have not been you are
faced with consequences and another chance to correct. Issues such as finances, relationships, work,
and honesty all come to light under Saturn.
Like Pluto, Saturn’s energy is powerful and somewhat unforgiving. That might sound like an over-statement, but
it really does come down to being responsible.
Where Pluto holds sweeping transformations as its goal, Saturn bears
down on responsibility and forces the issues with dogged repetition until you
get it “right.” Where this manifests
itself in your own life is dependent on the placement of Saturn in your natal
chart. The natal chart depicts the
placement of planets at the time of birth.
A person with Saturn in the second house would feel enormous desire and
drive to resolve money issues. If Saturn
resides in your ninth house you are faced with issues of faith and
spirituality. If Saturn is in your
fourth house you feel especially bound by family and so on. Houses represent where the action takes place. If you are interested in learning about the
houses and what they represent, visit my website and click on the link below
for an article on the subject. It is
concise and provides you with enough information to determine where the action
is in your chart.
The only way of
determining that is to have your chart cast professionally. For more in-depth discussion of astrology,
contact Chris. Personal readings are always available by emailing Chris

SPIRIT IN ART:
“Hope Floats” – Hope springs eternal.” It's a pretty powerful saying.
What does hope imply? It implies the highest degree of optimism; never ending;
never defeated. Faith. Optimism is often
overlooked as flighty, Pollyannish, goody-goodness. Beneath it all, though is
the cynical realism that tugs at the heart-strings of bitter reality. We can be
optimistic and hopeful and still realistic, can’t we?Good question.
Hope is intention.
Intention of striving for ;[something good in all the travesty that might face
us. Life is difficult. Plain and simple.
Often we are faced with insurmountable turmoil and tragedy, yet we must
go on. What drives us forward? Hope. Hope for a better tomorrow. Hope for an
end to suffering. Hope for a cure. Hope for peace. If we place all of our
intention in the right manner, we might just move a mountain or two.
